Now, this post may not be for everyone, and that’s ok! Today was my super geek out day. I went to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour for Harry Potter. This is the location where they filmed all of the movies, with the exception of when they went off set for certain scenes (ex the Divinity School at Oxford). THE. VERY. LOCATION.
I got super lucky as it was the Goblet of Fire exhibit and tons of stuff was out on the floor that wouldn’t normally be there! So cool to see the Triwizard Cup, and some of the costumes and props from the movie! And the castle? They actually used it to do a lot of the sweeping motion scenes and others. It was a spectacular model!
I could easily type on and on and on. But I’m just going to post a million pictures and those who know, well, you know! I highly recommend this tour for any true fan, because you see the actual sets, the actual props, the actual costumes. It’s amazing the number of people who contributed and the number of hours that were spent over those 10 years creating this magical universe. I appreciate it so much more seeing how hard people worked to make every single little detail perfect.
